Terms and conditions
General terms and conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These terms apply to every appointment and treatment with Carmen Brussel, trading under the name De Stille Kracht, in The Hague, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 65056833.
1. My work
I offer energetic therapy, coaching, counselling and related treatments. My work is complementary in nature: it does not replace a diagnosis or treatment by a doctor, psychologist or other regular caregiver. Where needed I will refer you to them. You always remain responsible yourself for the choices you make about your health.
2. Appointments
Appointments are made by phone or via WhatsApp. An appointment is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time.
3. Rescheduling or cancelling
Cannot make it after all? Let me know as early as possible — then the time can go to someone else. Cancelling or rescheduling is free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment; if you cancel later, the time may be charged as a treatment received.
4. Rates and payment
- A consultation costs €70 per hour.
- With a strip card you pay €65 per hour (5 hours upfront).
- Payment can be made in cash or by invoice; invoices have a payment term of 14 days.
- All rates are exempt from VAT.
5. Strip cards
A strip card is personal and cannot be exchanged for money. The hours remain valid until they are used up — even if you do not come for a while.
6. Confidentiality
Everything you share with me stays between us. I treat your data and my notes confidentially, as you may expect from a therapist. How I store your data is described in the privacy statement.
7. Liability
I work carefully and with attention, but treatment results can never be guaranteed — everyone responds differently. Liability for indirect or consequential damage is excluded. If something does not feel right in our work together, tell me: we will look at it together.
8. Complaints
If you are not satisfied, first discuss it with me — most things we resolve that way. If we cannot work it out together, you can engage an independent dispute resolution body.
9. Changes
I may amend these terms. The version that applied when you made the appointment is the version that governs your treatment.
